New Publication: Women's Labour Activism in Eastern Europe and Beyond

The Department is delighted that Women's Labour Activism in Eastern Europe and Beyond has been published. This is a major collective monograph written under the aegis of the ERC Advanced Grant ZARAH project. This project was co-hosted by CEU's History (now Historical Studies) and Gender Studies Departments. This open access publication presents a deeply researched, inclusive history of women’s labour activism in Eastern Europe, Austria, Turkey and transnationally, from the age of empires to the late twentieth century.
