The Department of Historical Studies is proud to host CEU's source languages. Our courses are open free of charge to all CEU students, faculty, and staff. We offer language courses for beginners and at the intermediate level based on student needs. Advanced reading classes are offered by faculty members in Historical Studies with relevant linguistic expertise. Furthermore, our source language teaching is an integral part of the Cluster of Excellence: EurAsian Transformations in collaboration with the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Universities of Vienna and Innsbruck.
