CEU Jewish Studies explores the culture, social participation, and representation of Jews in a global context from medieval times to the present, placing a special emphasis on the Jewish experience in Central and Eastern Europe. Students can take courses on Jewish identities and heritage, religious and intellectual movements, Jewish-Christian-Muslim encounters, politics, Zionism and Israeli society, antisemitism, and a wide range of other topics. CEU also offers an interdisciplinary specialization in Jewish Studies.
