Daniel Ziemann is currently Head of the Late Antique, Medieval and Early Modern Studies PhD program.

- Olha Stasiuk (Protect the Unprotected: Personae Miserabiles in Canon Law from Eleventh to Thirteenth Centuries)
- Roman Tymoshevskyi (The Art of Deposition: Royal Dethronement in England and Holy Roman Empire, 1298–1400)
