The application deadline for funded MA and PhD places at CEU is February 4, 2026. In order to help you apply for programs that start in September 2026, we've prepared a short guide, and a few videos illustrating why the department is a great place to study.
- First, choose your program. You can apply to more than one program, and you might also want to consider any Advanced Certificates or Specializations you'd like to take. Note down the admission requirements for the program you're interested in.
- You can browse our fields for a possible supervisor, but it's not necessary to identify a supervisor when applying.
- Check out the CEU general admissions requirements. These include a CV and degree certificates, and might require proof of English proficiency.
